Belynda and Steven along with their bridal party made this one really rock. Everyone was relaxed and we were able to really soak in every moment of the day. We drove down to Toronto for photos but the location and atmosphere just added to the mood. I want to thank the Stones Place on King St. for allowing Rick and I the opportunity of capturing such beautiful images both in stills and video.
The celebration took place at the fabulous Terrace Banquet Centre. Entertainment during dinner was provided by the violinist and showman extraordinaire Grenville Pinto but after dinner it was up to the disc jockey bb Blanc to rock the night away.

Heidi + Dany

Heidi and Dany's wedding was a wild party from beginning to end. From the moment when Carlos and I walked into Dany's home and witnessed all of the guys waiting for us in only their pants and vests I knew this one was going to be different. I finally got to meet Heidi and her family for the first time on the morning of their wedding. Heidi is from Pennsylvania and Dany is from Toronto but she will be moving to Toronto as soon as her immigration process is completed. She is also very talented at flower arranging because she is the one who made all the bouquets and centrepieces.

The day was beautiful with a clear blue sky but the air was chilly so we managed to take as many shots as possible before retiring to the hall for a fun filled evening at the Paradise Banquet & Convention Centre. Joe and Graciano from Good Vibrations did an excellent job in energizing the dance floor all night long.
Dona, Carlos and I were glad to have been a part of your special day and we wish you all the happiness in your life together.

Lisa + Daniel

This was a true fairy tale day, complete with the horse drawn carriage, doves and a mini castle. The sun was shinning, the birds were chirping and the doves were released after the ceremony. Photographs were taken at Daniels' parents stunning estate home in King City where we were welcomed and accommodated to the fullest. Both Lisa and Daniel's families were great to work with. Daniel's dad Mike, was a great help and if f I ever need another assistant, I know who to call.

A special shout out to Sabrina & Michael for recommending me to Lisa & Daniel. Michael is Lisa's brother and Sabrina her sister-in-law whom I had the pleasure of working with in 2008 when they got married.

The reception was held at The Terrace Banquet Hall in Vaughn, one of my personal favourites as this is where I held my wedding reception. The guests enjoyed tunes spun by bb Blanc.

My friend Danny came along with me as second camera on this cold but exciting March wedding. Jessica and Daniel are a delightful young couple and I thank them for bringing me along on their wonderful journey. The photographer was Julian Moniz along with his crew and the venue was at the Ambiance Banquet Hall which is owned by a long time friend of mine, Victor Couto. It was a wedding of 400 plus guests and the DJ Good Vibrations made sure they danced all night long.

What can I say that I have not said before. This was a fantastic wedding with a wacky bridal party as you will see from the clips below. Tania and Joel are both sweethearts. They were amazing to work with. Easy going all the way. The photographer was Julian Moniz and he took us to a location that I never would have given it second thought but the images were amazing. The venue was at the Pearson Convention Center and the hall was filled with the pulsating music provided by Electro Sounds Entertainment.

Melissa and I contemplated different locations for their wedding photos but everything we had in mind was too far from our route. The wedding was at 2 pm so we needed a location that was on the way from the church to the reception. I want to thank my son Julian Moniz for recommending this location because Joe is an electrician and the power lines fit in perfectly with his line of work. The day ran smoothly and everyone looked beautiful thanks to the wedding planning and make-up services provided by Jennifer & Mariel of My Sugar Events.

The moment I walked in to the Bellagio Banquet Hall I knew it was going to be a stylish evening. The bride and groom danced to a beautiful song played and sung by The Emerson Street Rhythm Band. I hope the rest of the weddings this year will be like this one.

What a way to celebrate a wedding. Stefanie and Joseph got married on December 31, 2010 and that means not only a wedding celebration but one hell of a New Year's Eve party at The West River Event Centre in Vaughan, one of the many venues belonging to The Infinite Event Group. The photo session took place at a farm belonging to a friend of the family. The photographer Julian Moniz and myself were able to take advantage of this beautiful locale and their cherished white horse by the name of Skippy to provide our lovely couple with astonishing photos and video footage.

Rhea and Richard are two of a kind. Richard is a long time friend of my son Julian Moniz who was also their photographer as you can see from the splendid still images below. I'm glad they decided to book the father and son team because I had a great time working with Julian and his talented entourage. My friend Danny Avelar also joined me as second camera and we must say we had our hands full with this wild and crazy bunch. The venue was Le Jardin Conference & Event Centre on Hwy 27 and a wide variety of spectacle and fun was provided by Illusion Music Entertainment, their friends and family members. Vera and Steve got married on September 4th, 2010 at the Renaissance By The Creek banquet hall in Mississauga. He wanted to have a Love Walk and Same Day edit presented on a large screen for his guests to enjoy but he did something even better. Instead of spending a lot of money on a 3-5 minute video just to impress his family and friends, Steve took the time and money to compose a song for his wonderful and beautiful bride.

The song was written and composed by Steve Do Rego and performed by Mikey Bustos the seventh runner-up in the finals of Canadian Idol Season One in August 2003.

The bride and all their guests including your's truly were very much impressed. I suggested to Steve to write custom songs for couples and he's more then willing. This year my son Julian & I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding for our friends Christina & Tony. Their wedding had the best of everything but the weather. I think we got hit with every imaginable weather condition except for hail but all in all, we managed to deliver the goods. Here are photos from Angela & Rocco's wedding at the Bahia Principe Bavaro in Punta Cana. Ric and I enjoyed every minute of this wonderful week. The bride and groom along with the bridal party, family and friends were a joy to work with. They laughed and partied every single waking hour.

I will never forget this wedding because it was the first destination wedding where the entire bridal party including the groom, the bride and the brides's father jumped into the swimming pool at the end of the evening. I never thought Angela would jump into the pool but she did. It was spectacular. Loved every minute of it. Can't wait till the next destination celebration.

I am excited to finally get a chance to post some of the photos of Andreia and Martins wedding that Julian and I recently shot down in The Mayan Riviera. They were a pleasure to work with, and we had a blast with their family and friends. The ceremony was beautiful and the entire trip was amazing. We loved shooting down in the Mayan, especially with its colourful Mexican architecture, white sandy beaches and crystal blue ocean.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Andreia, Martin, their friends and families for their hospitality and for allowing Julian and I to document these memorable moments. Everyone made it so easy for us to do our job. Thank You.

Destination Wedding- Punta Cana

Hey Everyone,

It's been a long time since my last post. I have been very busy setting up my new location in Woodbridge, Ontario and I am finally settled in, well, more or less.
There is still a lot to do and buy but it will have to be done with time. I am happy to announce that I have another destination wedding coming up in May. Rick and I depart on May 8th to beautiful Punta Cana in the Dominica Republic. We will be covering both the video and photography for Angela & Rocco's wedding. Our one week stay will be at the Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro Hotel located in Playa Bavaro.

We arrive one day prior to the lovely couple, which gives us time to scout for locations and settle in. I can't wait for this one.

I can't believe I actually found the time to blog this morning. We were crazy busy during the holiday season with everyone wanting their photos and videos for Christmas but finally the pace has returned to normal. We are all ready for the New Year and hope it will be a good one. Here are a few shots from Melissa & Anthony's wedding.

The ceremony took place at St. Michael's Cathedral in Toronto, Ontario.

Destination Wedding - Mayan Riviera

What a great way to start spring. Andrea & Martin both reside in Vancouver Canada but have booked their wedding at the five star Gran Bahia Principe Akumal in the Mayan Riviera south of Cancun, Mexico. I will depart from Toronto on April 17, 2008 and return on the 24th. Their wedding promises to be anything but dull and I can't wait to capture every moment.

It has been 3 weeks since my last post but I have been swamped with weddings. I have also been busy creating my new website which hopefully will be up and ready by this weekend. It was my first time at the Palais Royale Ballroom and I must say I was impressed with the service, the decor, the food and especially the huge patio on the lake. It was first class all the way.

Destination Wedding - Varadero, Cuba

Here we go again.
This time we fly out on June 3, 2007 to exotic Varadero, Cuba for the wedding of a wonderful young couple, Yairin & Alex. The wedding ceremony will take place June 6th at two in the afternoon on the white sandy beach of the luxurious Barcelo Solymar Resort.

We leave Toronto on Sunday evening at 17:45 which gives us plenty of time to relax from the wedding from the night before. We arrive in Varadero at 21:15 for one week stay at the Tryp Peninsula which is 15 minutes from the Barcelo where the bridal couple is staying. It is nice to give the newlyweds some privacy.

I am looking forward to meeting the beautiful bride and her family for the very first time. Will post photos upon my return.
